**Position Overview:**

We seek a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Refuse Collector. The primary responsibility of this role is to collect and transport waste materials from residential and commercial areas to designated disposal sites. The ideal candidate MUST possess a Class C driver's license and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.

2. Collect waste materials from residential and commercial areas according to established routes and schedules.

3. Ensure proper loading and securing of waste materials onto collection vehicles.

4. Transport collected waste materials to designated disposal sites in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

5. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure proper functionality and safety.

6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection vehicles and work areas.

7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily operations and address issues or concerns.

8. Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents and businesses.

**Qualifications:**

1. Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.

2. Previous experience in waste management or related field preferred.

3. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

4. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Flexibility to work early mornings and some weekends as needed.
