Position Objective: GAP Solutions is seeking an accomplished executive to spearhead our business development and capture initiatives within the health services vertical. This pivotal role demands a strategic visionary with a robust track record of securing federal contracts, an expansive network within the federal health community, and an acute understanding of market dynamics and opportunities within the health services sector throughout the Business Development-Capture-Proposal life-cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive strategic growth plan for the health services vertical, ensuring alignment with GAP Solutions' overarching corporate objectives.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the federal health sector, capitalizing on GAP Solutions' existing contracts, capabilities, and proven performance.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders within the federal health community.
  • Lead and direct capture teams, formulating winning strategies, compelling value propositions, and distinctive competitive advantages.
  • Oversee the creation and submission of high-caliber, compliant, and persuasive proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations, contracts, finance, and other departments to guarantee cohesive business development efforts.
  • Monitor and manage the health services opportunity pipeline, providing detailed reports on opportunity status and key performance indicators.
  • Mentor and develop business development personnel, nurturing a culture of teamwork, innovation, and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required; a Master's degree or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in business development, capture, and proposal management within the federal health sector, with a consistent record of contract wins.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the federal health market, including insights into customers, competitors, partners, regulations, and policies.
  • Availability to travel as necessary to fulfill job requirements.

  • An extensive network of contacts and influential relationships with key decision-makers within the federal health community.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

  • A proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.
