The core mission of Stormbreaker team is to lead the IC in intelligence integration, forging a community that delivers the most insightful intelligence possible. The Research Scientist conducts risk/benefit analysis of different technical choices or outcomes and provides independent reviews and summaries of technical and scientific literature.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing in-depth technical studies requiring specialized skills or knowledge.
• Developing technology roadmaps.
• Conducting risk/benefit analysis of different technical choices or outcomes.
• Providing independent reviews and summaries of technical and scientific literature.
• Participating, presenting, and producing materials for working groups, workshops, and interagency forums to provide expertise and technical consultation.
• Providing expertise on research and development processes.
• Providing technical consultation and assessments on specific topics.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year working with or in the IC.
• TS/SCI with CI Poly required.
• Experience providing advice, analysis, and insight on Science and Technology areas.
• Experience leading large architecture initiatives including the identification, scheduling, and managing of architecture activities and artifacts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with non-technical and technical staff
• Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
