Position DetailsPosition Summary Position Title Erie United Methodist Alliance - Off-Campus WS Posting NumberDivision Career & Employment Services Department Provost & Student Experience (AA) Location Erie, Pa Position SummaryCareer Readiness Learning Objectives:Communication- The student worker will gain skills and knowledge in communication by working at the job site with EUMA professional staff. Equity and Inclusion: The student worker will work in an environment that engages with people from different local and global cultures. They will support the organization’s mission to assist all people in the community to end homelessness. This position is for a student to work as an intern with the Erie United Methodist Alliance. The student will work under the direction of the EUMA staff and will assist the organization in advancing their mission and meeting client needs. EUMA’s mission is to end homelessness in Northwest Pennsylvania by making it a rare, brief, and one-time experience. An interest and passion for helping others especially those experiencing homelessness.
Willing to commit up to 20 hours per week based on their schedule.
Self-starter, motivated.
Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills.
Comfortable working with a diverse population and client base.
Ability to lead and supervise small groups.
