Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK is Hiring a Quality Assurance Team Lead - Client Success Near Plano, TX

The Quality Assurance, Team Lead will be a working team lead who is responsible to oversee Quality Assurance efforts for LocaliQ’s North American advertising campaigns. The focus of this role is to ensure our advertising client’s campaigns are set up correctly at launch and are driving the highest levels of performance and return on ad spend for our advertisers throughout the life of their campaigns. This individual will work with client success, product, and operations teams to identify areas in need of quality assurance and will design the various Q.A. checks across products and processes based upon the feedback they’ve sought out as well as their own expertise. The QA, Team Lead will then train on and assign daily, weekly, monthly QA initiatives across other QAs while also ensuring those teammates are meeting expectations on their deliverables. The QA, Team Lead will ensure that their advertising campaign QA findings are communicated back to the applicable team(s) in a timely manner to ensure any campaign or performance issues are address or best practices deployed. Additionally, the QA, Team Lead will analyze the overarching data to uncover trends to clearly articulate back to the appropriate teams any areas where additional training may be needed or process/product improvements may need to be implemented. This individual will also need to be able to articulate their findings and overall recommendations to sales and post sales leadership to further instill confidence in the performance of our advertiser’s campaigns. Additionally, they will work to gain feedback and buy-in on areas to adjust, add, or remove certain audit points or initiatives and then quickly communicate and implement those efforts.Key Skills & Competencies: Customer Focus Demonstrate understanding and expertise in customer relationship management Establish and maintain effective internal relationships across various teams and levels within the organizationSeek internal client feedback and incorporate it into evolving QA effortsDemonstrate ability to determine and prioritize QA efforts to ensure 100% of the focus is on client campaign performance and experience to drive long-term retention of our client base.Contribute to achievement of overall company and client success goals to include but not limited to client and budget retentions, campaign performance, and expense reduction.Collaboration Collaborate with sales team, client strategy, digital marketing & optimization, fulfillment, and other teams across the org.Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate excellent listening skills.Effectively present findings to individuals or teams within the organization to address specific campaign gaps or overarching QA issue trends.Organization Manage time and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentDocument, articulate, and track QA efforts to ensure consistency and accuracy.Analytical Thinking Capable of interpreting data and making actionable recommendations to improve performanceQuickly identify the symptoms and underlying cause of problemsBusiness Process and Technology Acumen Quickly master business process, marketing, and technology concepts to identify and execute upon quality assurance efforts to drive a strong ROAS for our advertisers.Robust knowledge of ad management, billing, workflow management, and analytics platforms.Strong technical skills to establish, assess, modify/adjust, and routinely improve quality assurance efforts that directly correlate with improving advertiser experience.Conflict Management Capable of finding common ground and explaining differing viewpoints comprehensively to gain buy-in with applicable teams to ensure a aligned upon and comprehensive QA efforts.Leadership Effectively onboard, train, coach, provide feedback to, and hold accountable new and existing Quality Assurance Managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of their QA responsibilities.Ensure clear documentation of processes, procedures, and best practicesProactively evolve QA efforts and audit points for a continued strong return on efforts based upon ongoing QA findings and evolving products, processes, and issues. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in General Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism or English preferred, but significant experience may be considered for the right candidate.2 years hands-on experience managing online/digital/print advertising campaigns2 years of client service/account management experience.2 years using and navigating salesforce, billing systems, Microsoft Office product suite,publishers platforms like Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, Facebook business manager, Simplifi, and more.Team management experience preferred but not required. Gannett Co., Inc.
