SUMMARY The Product Content Specialist collects and implements multi-media content representing specific product lines for GameStop’s digital and physical channels to ensure a world-class enterprise shopping experience in order to drive higher traffic and sales conversions. Through these efforts, associate is a subject matter expert on all things related to the products carried by GameStop. Associate will interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Many non-routine activities will require a supervisor’s advance approval. This position will sit onsite in Grapevine, TX. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Ensure world-class product information for various current and future product lines, and additional. Content includes digital assets such as screen shots, box art and videos as well as product meta-data such as ESRB ratings, product specifications, product contents, etc. Ensure that all items have a correct taxonomy, attribution and adhere to the site standards. Ensure the confidentiality and secure handling of embargoed information provided by other teams and publishers to ensure such information is not released to the public until approved. Track and update related product information including bonus items, release date availability, and special notices and disclaimers related to products. Partner with Digital marketing on SEO strategies and optimization of product pages. Maintain and create relevant associations between products including upsells, cross sells and digital to physical relationships. Interact with other teams including those internal to Gamestop.com as well as external Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure focus supports larger initiatives. Assist supervisor and related teams with identifying hot upcoming titles, gaming trends, awareness of pre-release titles and provide other feedback where needed to support traffic, conversion, and sales goals. Assist the User Experience team by recommending improvements to content presentation, depth, and quality in order to increase conversions and provide all purchase-relevant product information. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree with a regionally accredited program or 5 years of relevant work experience required. 3 years of site merchandising experience is required. Basic understanding of SEO keywords and concepts is required. Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform experience is highly preferred. Expertise in site analytics if highly preferred. Strong computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of Excel. Previous experience working with digital assets and related asset management tools required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES Working knowledge of basic HTML, FTP, and file editor applications Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills in order to interpret data and make subsequent decisions and recommendations. Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English. Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, Outlook, and Word Ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines.
