Job Title: Shuttle Dispatcher

Position Summary: As a Shuttle Stop Dispatcher for Gameday Productions Services (GPS), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transportation logistics of a national level youth basketball tournament. The event takes place July 18-22, and welcomes players, coaches, families, and spectators to McCormick Place for the annual competition. Working remotely, you will manage shuttle services, coordinate with event staff, and maintain efficient communication with our transportation partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of shuttle dispatch logistics via WhatsApp from our site teams.
- Communicate effectively with the bus company to coordinate routes, manage bus availability, and address any operational issues to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Collaborate with the Shuttle Stop Manager team members via text, to optimize shuttle operations and enhance the overall attendee experience.
- Stay informed about event updates, schedule changes, and other relevant information to effectively facilitate transportation.
- Provide assistance and guidance to clients regarding shuttle services, boarding procedures, and event logistics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout the event.
Role details:
- Dates: July 19-22
- Shift time: 8-16 hours
- Location: Remote
- Pay: $23/hr
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or event management preferred.
- Proficient familiarity with Excell or Google Sheets is required.
- Proficiency in using technology and mobile devices for remote communication and coordination.
