We are hiring Video Game Party Hosts to act as Game Coaches and drive our video game trailers to private parties and events and conduct Laser Tag & Gellyball events in Austin and surrounding areas. The vast majority of our business is weekend birthday parties.

Don't know how to pull a trailer? We will train you.

Don't know much about video games? We will train you.

What we can't train someone to do is care.

If you value what we value, you can do what we do, and we will train you to do it. Drivers can earn $1,000 or more on the weekends (including salary and tips).

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Driving the GameTruck mobile game theater (truck and trailer / 50 feet long) to event locations.
• Facilitating fun video game private events and interacting with guests (mostly kids).
• Maintaining the appearance of the trailer, vehicle, and equipment.
• Presenting the professional image that our customers expect from GameTruck.

A Standard Day

A standard day involves arriving at the equipment depot/office, inspecting and checking out your equipment. You then drive to the events by following a pre-planned route. At the event, you run the party and manage the equipment. You interact with the gamers throughout the event and collect payment from the customer when the event is finished. When the day's events are finished, you return to the depot for inspection and check-in.

• Enjoy working with kids and have an outgoing personality.
• Can work weekends and evenings on a flexible schedule.
• Are able to manage chaotic situations with calm enthusiasm.
• Have general knowledge of video gaming, consoles, and audio/video equipment.
• Able to meet deadlines, be punctual, and maintain a professional image.

PLEASE NOTE

Selected candidates will receive a driving record and criminal background check. A clean driving record is required. Upon passing the background checks, new employees will be required to attend and complete training.

Must be able to work Friday evenings as well as Saturdays and Sundays.

Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Hourly wage event tips quarterly performance-based bonuses.
