Job Description
Job Title: Game Attendant
Department: Pleasure Pier
Reports to: Games/Retail/Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the Following, but Not Limited To
  • Opens and closes games; ensures that all the equipment is accounted for and operating as designed
  • Greets guests and encourages them to play.
  • Explains rules and instructions of games.
  • Maintains bank and makes change for guests.
  • Collects payment from guests and records.
  • Distributes prizes to winners, and records number of prizes given.
  • Maintains prize displays.
  • Immediately reports any guest complaint to management.
  • Follows the safety rules provided in the Safety Program found in the Employee Orientation Manual and reports any safety hazards to management immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Less than High School education, or up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using unites of American money.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply comment sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables on standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear, and smell. The employee frequently is requires to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
RESTRICTIONS
The Company has a light duty work program that will accommodate any light or modified duty restriction as directed by the treating doctor for a workers’ compensation injury.
