Financial Planning & Analysis – eCommerce Analyst

A Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for communicating operational results and trends to business stakeholders in a clear and effective manner. The analyst will routinely be tasked with extracting and analyzing system data and serving as a liaison between Galls’ finance and Marketing teams, helping both groups achieve their strategic and operational goals. Heavy emphasis for this position includes analyzing eCommerce/Marketing operations and campaign performance in order to support business partners in their decision making process

WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Essential Functions and Responsibilities includes the information below. Management reserves the right to assign other duties as needed.

1. Create ad hoc reporting to functional business leads in order to support various business decisions and strategic modeling

• Requires willingness to develop and expand knowledge of Galls’ ERP system and reporting tools

1. Assist in preparing/automating weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting packages and other financial deliverables
2. Seek way to improve established reporting standards, either as requested or required by current business results
3. Perform detailed analysis in order to monitor key performance indicators across the functional areas of the organization
4. Support strategic planning and decision-making by identifying and analyzing business trends within customer and/or geographic behaviors, market segmentations and other relevant groups
5. Interpret operating results and communicate opportunities to functional business leads
6. Other projects/responsibilities may be assigned as needed and at Management discretion

WHAT YOU BRING

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including effective presentation, documentation, strong planning and organization skills.
2. Adaptability is key. The right candidate will be able to communicate across cross-functional groups and multiple departments within the organization to achieve goals
3. Prior financial analyst experience is preferred, but not required
4. High Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with SAS/SQL coding and/or BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and/or Qlik, a plus.
5. 2-3 years experience in accounting, finance, business analytics experience
6. 4 Year Degree or Equivalent
