Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Pro Re Nata (PRN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our committed team at Galloway Senior Living. The PRN LPN will be instrumental in ensuring the health, well-being, and comfort of our residents, while also collaborating closely with our caregiving and nursing teams. The ideal candidate will embody our core values, possess a passion for senior care, and demonstrate adaptability and positivity in their approach to duties.

Responsibilities:

Resident Care

• Administer medication and provide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans and protocols..
• Monitor residents' health status, document observations, and communicate any changes to the nursing and management teams promptly.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for residents.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and observations to enhance resident care plans.
• Foster open communication with residents and their families to address concerns, provide updates on care, and promote a collaborative care environment.

Compliance

• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing resident care, safety, and documentation.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of caregiving and nursing practices.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN licensure in IL, with a strong commitment to maintaining licensure and continuing education.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to senior care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, supporting and valuing the contributions of all team members.
• Dedication to upholding the values and principles of Galloway Senior Living, including a focus on resident-centered care and dignity.
