Looking for Hands-On Property Manager to Oversee all aspects of 2 Small boutique upscale and very nicely renovated properties in Galleria Area.

This is a unique position encompasses 98 apartments over two addresses. It includes a small 2-person office, working side by side with the leasing consultant. The property manager here is exposed to residents, guests, and vendors up front and center. Responsible to greet all who walk in the door. Cheerful attitude and communication skills are a “must”.

• Apartment Industry experience is REQUIRED.
• Apartment Manager experience is REQUIRED, including supervisory and leadership skills to delegate and manage the performance of others, including counseling, coaching/training, and development.
• Reporting the property’s, occupancy, and expiring leases to property owner.
• Collecting rent, dealing with late payments, handling operating expenses, filing evictions as needed and paying property invoices.
• Leasing management and marketing knowledge, skills, and abilities to lease to new prospects and manage renewal leases.
• Investigate, address, and help to resolve tenant complaints, disturbances, and violations.
• Perform routine inspections, including vacated units and walk the property.
• Schedule vendors as needed for routine and various maintenance issues.
• Experience working with conventional apartment communities of at least 100 units.
• Stress-management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail oriented and highly organized
• Stable work history is REQUIRED.
• Minimum high school diploma and some college; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
