Summary:

Provides prompt and courteous food and beverage service to restaurant guests while maximizing sales and guest satisfaction

Duties/Tasks:

• Enter work place at scheduled time in uniform, ready to begin work. Properly clock in.
• Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
• Present food and beverages according to established health and presentation standards.
• Upsells established menu items or specials to maximize food and beverage revenues
• Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Ensure a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Perform side work, and other opening or closing duties as required.
• Receive guest payments and process transactions as outlined in the cash and charge procedures.
• Continued effort to function responsibly in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Be familiar with other aspects of the hotel and grounds to provide information and guest assistance.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Must be of age to make and serve alcoholic beverages
• Basic reading, writing, and math. Food service experience with general knowledge of bar operations.
• Must have the ability to lift or carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
• As a hospitality team member, your schedule is required to be flexible. Your schedule will be determined by your supervisor at their discretion to best service our guests, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
