Gallagher Kaiser is Hiring a PROJECT MANAGER - EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION Near Troy, MI
Location: Troy, Michigan | Employee Type: Full-time
- Initiate cost control & reporting procedures in conjunction with the estimating and accounting teams
- Manage financial aspects of contracts, including change orders, contractor and supplier payments, equipment rentals, back charges, etc.
- Prepare monthly financial projections for leadership review
- Work with the safety department to ensure the project's safety program and culture is followed
- Actively manage the project schedule, including the critical path and all the milestones to ensure project goals are exceeded or met
- Coordinate staffing requirements and actively serves as a mentor for the project team
- Participate in the design and execution of project safety and quality control activities
- Assist in bid package development, pre-qualification activities, and budgeting
- Lead pre-construction meetings and coordinate answers to RFIs
- Analyze risk and define schedule related issues, including analysis of long lead materials or equipment which may impact cash flow
- Oversee project close-out and claim resolution
