Coverage Camp Directors are key members of our camp leadership team at Galileo Learning. When single site Camp Directors are unavailable, Coverage Camp Directors may step in at any time as acting Camp Directors across a number of sites in their region. When not acting as Camp Director, Coverage CDs are assigned to one location to support the leadership team and step in as needed for onsite coverage needs. This location might change week to week or day to day. The role involves managing staff, seamlessly overseeing day-to-day operations, and creating a joy-filled summer camp culture.

Benefits & Compensation
At Galileo, we value divergent thinkers who bring various experiences and viewpoints to the table. We strongly encourage members of underrepresented groups and people of diverse backgrounds to apply.
Camp Directors start from a wide variety of backgrounds, including but not limited to: school teaching, camp counseling & leadership, after-school programming, coaching, museum education, and leadership in retail or customer service. In addition, research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the requirements, women and other underrepresented people tend to only apply when they match all criteria. Even if you don't necessarily meet every checkbox in the job description, but you think you have what it takes, we encourage you to apply.
