    Job Summary and Qualifications

    This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as Manager of the training team in the Academic Support & Development area. This position will supervise the Virtual Trainers. Position will coordinate all aspects of training for incoming OAR campus based staff and provide training for Campus Academic Leaders as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop a training schedule for incoming Campus Registrars and Registrar Service Specialists and assign trainers (or provide training). Coordinating all dates with the trainee’s direct supervisor. This may be updated based on progress and skills/knowledge they may have when they are hired.
    • Oversee the training of new Campus Registrars and Registrar Service Specialists. Introducing them to the college policies and procedures and training them in the use of the College Student Information System.
    • Supervision of virtual trainers. Assure that all instruction is being delivered appropriately and on a timely basis. Adhering to all college policies and procedures.
    • Provide Feedback to the supervisor of personnel being trained on progress made and areas still needing reinforcement or additional training.
    • Assist Virtual Registrar with coverage of new campuses as needed.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Collaboration and Communication:

      • Work effectively with the Virtual Registrar and all campus personnel
      • Communicate clearly and concisely with Campus Leadership regarding policies, procedures, and updates.

      Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years’ experience utilizing a Student Information System
    • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills Preferred.
    • Extreme attention to detail
    • Qualifications:

      • Associate degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in higher education
      • Experience in providing training and supervising staff.
      • Excellent communication and written skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.
      • Understanding of and commitment to compliance with federal and state regulations governing student records.
