Overview: As a Service Coordinator / Dispatcher, you play a crucial role in coordinating the logistics of our organization. You will be responsible for efficiently dispatching technicians and tracking resources such as vehicles, personnel, and equipment to various locations as per requests and schedules. Your effective communication skills and ability to multitask will ensure smooth operations and timely responses to service calls.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming service requests, determine priorities, and allocate resources accordingly.
• Coordinate the dispatch of technicians and equipment to designated locations.
• Ensure all dispatch activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for field personnel and customers.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and technicians to provide necessary instructions and updates.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during assignments.
• Track vehicle locations, routes, and estimated arrival times.
• Handle unexpected situations, such as vehicle breakdowns or traffic delays, by adjusting schedules and reassigning resources as needed.
• Collaborate with field personnel and management to troubleshoot problems and optimize dispatch operations.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of technicians

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a dispatcher or similar role in logistics, transportation, or call center preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage high-volume dispatch activities.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Quick decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements for dispatch operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in dispatching or logistics is a plus.
