Performs a variety of clinical and office duties under Physician and Office Manager direct supervision. Manage and delegate team roles and responsibilities to ensure office flows properly in the absence of the Office Manager. Work with the Office Manager to promote and maintain the practice goals and policies and procedures. Encourage and practice teamwork philosophy. Maintain positive/open communication with team. Assist with and maintain patient flow in the office. Provide training/guidance when necessary. Train new medical assistants. Collaborate with other medical assistants, and providers to provide optimal patient care. Adhere to all policies, procedures and established accountability of same within the team.

Education REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED, completion of medical assistant program at an accredited school

Experience REQUIRED: 5 years medical assistant training

License/Certificates REQUIRED : Certified MA
