Description:

This opportunity is with a growing consulting firm that offers services that help companies comply with safety engineering and environmental regulations. You'll be able to leverage your mechanical engineering expertise to support clients in manufacturing, industrial buildings, and processes. They will be committed to your professional development, investing in honing your mechanical engineering and safety skillsets. This is an Atlanta-based role that requires local residency and blends office, remote, and client-site work (15-30% travel nationwide). You'll visit sites to collaborate with clients on safety projects and mechanical operations, gathering data, analyzing regulations, and delivering comprehensive technical reports. A heavy focus of this role will be on machine and automation analysis along with safety projects specializing in Combustible Dust.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
1 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, ideally in a manufacturing setting or consulting firm, with demonstrated equipment/process knowledge.
Experience with safety initiatives such as OSHA, safety audits and compliance, or machine guarding is key.
Machine design, automation/robotic systems, industrial hygiene, EHS, combustible dust (DHAs) are all pluses.
