Job Description
We are seeking a contracted Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to become a part of our team! This opportunity is part-time, for our Lawrenceville location, 2 days per week. The clinics are open Monday through Thursday, from 9am-6pm & Friday, 9am-1pm.
Precision Injury Care has treated tens of thousands of satisfied patients over the years. Our locations provide integrated medical services to our patients by combining Chiropractic, Physical Therapy and Interventional Pain Management for pain related conditions.
At Precision Injury Care our goal is to provide the same level of care that we would expect for our own family members. Your goal is to listen to each story and perspective to ascertain important information to correctly diagnose each ailment and propose an appropriate treatment plan.
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough medical examinations and assessments with a focus on evidence-based care.
  • Diagnosing and treating various injuries.
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans.
  • Prescribing medications and treatments.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Documenting patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Communicating effectively with medical assistants and other support staff.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with patients.
  • Educating patients about their medical conditions and treatment options.
  • Providing empathetic and compassionate care.
  • Adhering to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
Qualifications:
  • An active and unencumbered medical license in the state of Georgia
  • Board certification or eligibility for certification in a specialty relevant to the role (highly preferred).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Efficient time management in our busy clinic.
  • Timely completion of notes/charting in the patient's medical record.
  • Orthopedic and/or physical medicine background is a plus, as practices are acute, non life threatening, injury care
  • Must be comfortable with trigger point injections
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
