Summary: The Regional Turf and Ornamental Sales Manager will be the expert in each region to drive our agronomics efforts and maximize sales. The agronomic category is one of Ewing’s largest opportunities for growth. It is crucial we continue to grow this category. This position will help make that possible, by assisting each region with their product offering, regional pricing, and seasonal forecasting in collaboration with the Divisional Sales Manager. This position will use discretion and independent judgment to make decisions for their region regarding product offerings, regional pricing, and seasonal forecasting in collaboration with Procurement and Product Management. They will have 10-20 key accounts. These accounts will be a combination of the largest agronomic customers in their regions and relationship-trusted accounts discussed and assigned by the Divisional Sales Manager. They will oversee the branch education for the category as well as customer education. Turf and Ornamental Sales Managers will support branch staff with written agronomic programs and any customer visits the branch needs support on. They will be responsible for communicating product specials directly with the Branch Managers and working with them on promotions/product display and product availability in the branch. This position will report directly to the Divisional Sales Manager.
