G4 Builders LLC is Hiring a Commercial Construction Accounting Controller Near Scottsdale, AZ

COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING CONTROLLER
G4 Builders, LLC, is a General Contractor, located in Scottsdale, AZ, in search of a team player with excellent communication skills who is wanting to grow with our company as our Construction Accounting Controller. The Controller is responsible for assisting the Owners in controlling and executing all matters relating to the accounting and administrative functions of G4 Builders, LLC. Expertise with QuickBooks Enterprise and solid experience in accounting for construction general contractors is essential for this position.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Oversee all Accounts Payable functions. Including but not limited to: Subcontractor Billing and Retentions, Vendor Invoices, processing payments and following proper Lien Release procedures; accruals for insurance exposure and other expenses
  • Oversee all Accounts Receivable functions. Including but not limited to AIA Billing and Retentions and Managing Collections
  • Create, analyze, and interpret accounting and job costing records and reports in QuickBooks Enterprise (Contractor Edition).
  • Manage the integration of the financial transactions in the project management system (currently Procore) with QuickBooks, including but not limited to client contracts and change orders, subcontracts and change orders, and client and subcontractor invoices.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and project engineers in managing project budgets, orders and payments.
  • Organize and track insurances, including builders risk, liability, and worker’s compensation.
  • Manage the bi-weekly payroll process, including but not limited to ClickTime timesheets, overtime and PTO monitoring, employee expense reimbursements, and benefits administration.
  • Balance daily checking account and reconcile bank statement.
  • Reconcile and pay monthly credit card statements.
  • Prepare and review WIP Schedule to verify completeness for revenue recognition.
  • Sales and Use Tax Filing
  • Direct month end close including account reconciliation and adjustments for depreciation, prepaids, accruals, sales tax, and all other supporting documentation for internal use and for Outside CPA.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial statement.
  • Filing of Business and Contractor Licenses for various Municipalities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
