G3 Quality is Hiring a Driver Near Sacramento, CA
G3 Quality, Inc. is seeking a Driver to support project activities in our Sacramento facility. The driver is an imperative role, in transporting all samples and required materials to and from various project sites to our laboratories, and coordinating with our field staff accordingly. This position reports to our Fleet Manager. The preferred candidate must be self-starting, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Individuals must have a firm understanding of basic math skills and a clean driving record.Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Driving a company vehicle onto construction sites and coordinating with our field technicians to pick up samples (50 pounds) for transport to our laboratory. Pick-up routes range from Sacramento to San Francisco or Tulare to Humboldt counties
- Performs general area cleanup.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
- Load and unload the company vehicle with appropriate equipment.
- Follows company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately reports all safety hazards.
- Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
- Daily records and complete daily timesheets.
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- Possess a valid California driver's license.
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
- 1 years of driving experience or relevant industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transfer material samples weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- The candidate must have a proven success record of providing superior client satisfaction.
- $18.00 an hour
