- Previous experience in welding in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work as a team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Familiar with welding tools, and practice safe and correct procedures of metalworking equipment in shop environment.
- Ability to read engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Follow quality standards by providing great attention to detail.
- Ensure work is done safely.
- Lift raw materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Must have the ability to weld and fabricate components complete by interpreting and analyzing drawing files; maintaining quality and safety standards; keep detailed records; maintain shop equipment and supplies.
- Must be able to pass D1.1, D1.3 weld certification within 2 weeks of hire.
- AWS certification history is a PLUS.
