Our solo practitioner General Dentistry office in Sugarhouse is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join us in providing our patients with high-quality care. Position is 3 days a week Monday through Wednesday. Hours are:

• Monday 7 am - 4 pm
• Tuesday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Wednesday 8 am - 5 pm.

There also may be the option to work some Thursdays 8 am - 1 pm if desired.

Hourly pay rate will be dependent on experience.

Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays using Dexis imaging technology
- Assess and record patients' oral health status
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as needed
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
- Update and maintain patient records using Dentrix
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans for patients

Requirements:

- 2 years experience (Preferred)
- Valid Utah dental hygiene license
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification
