G&W Equipment is Hiring a Driver Near Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely transport equipment and materials to and from customer sites
- Perform DOT inspection of equipment prior to delivery/pick up, along with documenting and communicating any maintenance issues or abuse
- Review proper operational procedures of equipment with customer
- Maintain a driver logbook and routine inspection of the truck
- Provide communication and positive customer service to customers while onsite
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT Medical Exam, along with pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical examination
- Experience in operating lift trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, scrubbers, other equipment
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
Shift and Schedule
- Monday through Friday, regular business hours
- Full time, overtime available
- Local routes, drivers will expect to be home most days
