The Sr. Director of eCommerce will direct the global digital commerce execution for G.H. BASS. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to drive the day-to-day business. The individual will have experience generating significant growth for ecommerce businesses, delivering a best-in-class and engaging customer experiences using analytics to evaluate and drive strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with marketing, merchandising and IT to develop the digital roadmap, execute the digital strategy and achieve a best-in-class site customer experience.
• Partner with marketing, merchandising, planning, IT and finance teams to build the eCommerce to establish annual sales plans and align with overall company strategy and financial goals.
• Own the eCommerce P&L. Formulate sales plans and budgets for the brand. Manage and monitor all eCommerce related expenses & activity to balance growth and profit efforts against financial objectives.
• Partner closely with Marketing teams to align on key initiatives and messaging to build brand equity through site experience. Develop and execute the content management and digital promotion strategy.
• Define the strategy for Paid & Organic Search, Paid Social, Affiliate, Display and email marketing initiatives in collaboration with digital marketing agencies and internal marketing partners.
• Direct the global expansion of our digital business with vendor partner & agency support.
• Drive innovation by monitoring competition and exploring strategic vendor partner opportunities to build sales and customer engagement on the sites. Manage relationships with eCommerce vendor partners and agencies.
• Utilize Google Analytics, operational system reporting and other reporting tools to identify and action on customer trends and consumer reaction to sites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, MBA a plus
• 7 years of eCommerce/ Digital Marketing experience
• Proven experience driving performance and email marketing
• Detailed understanding of end-to-end e-commerce processes including clear understanding of website infrastructure, content management, product attribution, and customer-facing functionality
• Deep understanding of ecommerce content management systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret extensive data to make actionable recommendations
• Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work quickly, efficiently, and strategically across internal and external teams.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve in a deadline-driven environment

The salary pay range for this position is: $140-180K annually
