We are hiring techs with 3 plus years' experience sealed system certified to work in any of the following area.

Brooklyn & Queens, NY

We are looking to hire 2 Appliance Technicians immediately, must have experience with: Refrigerators, Freezers, Washers, Dryers, Gas & Electric Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, and other home appliances. This position requires reliable people; we provide timely and quality repairs of customers' products while maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. All Service Technicians will be provided a company van, laptop and or tablet, cell phone and uniforms. Must have a clean driver's license; pass drug screening and background check.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately diagnosing and repairing appliances/equipment in the customer's home or business

The ability to select and use basic tools or instruments to assemble, adjusts, calibrate repairs or test various products

The ability to give the customer an accurate estimate of the cost of repair or installation

The ability to read, understand and navigate through information presented in schematics and diagrams

The ability to use a laptop for service call processes, routing functions and parts/inquiries/ordering

The ability to safely lift to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.

Occasionally crouching, squatting, climbing/balancing, walking, and reaching above shoulder level

The ability to provide knowledgeable, courteous and professional customer service

The knowledge of basic electrical principles being able to read and understand electrical schematics know the difference between AC and DC voltage, resistance vs. continuity

Able to troubleshoot by following technical sheets and diagrams

Good problem solving and time management skills

Maintain truck stock inventory truck maintenance schedule and keeping a clean and organized truck

Reliable and motivated

Education and Experience:

Minimum 3 years professional work experience as a residential appliance repair technician

Previous in-home appliance diagnosis and repair experience

Pleasant, polite manner with customers and co-workers

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Must be at least 21 years of age

Certificates, Licenses:

Valid Driver's License and insurable Motor Vehicle Record

EPA Universal certification
