Summer is coming! G Force Gymnastics Academy is located on 4487 Irving Blvd NW, Albuquerque NM 87114. We are looking for Fierce new talent to add to our seasonal summer camp staff. Our summer camp is 8weeks long and runs from June 3rd 2024 - August 2nd 2024 with the exception of the week of June 30th - July 6th where the gym will be closed in observance of the holiday. The schedule is M-F from 7:30AM to 4:30pm. Mandatory training dates will be in May and take place on weekday evenings and weekend days.

While we do provide on the job training for coaches, some basic requirements for coach applicants are:

*Customer service mindset and strong communication skills *Confidence in leading large groups of children *Physical capability to lift up to 30lbs repeatedly *Love of education and competitive sports *Ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds, personalities, and ages

Coaching Responsibilities

*Provide instruction in a positive manner to summer camp participants based on the G-Force Gymnastics lesson plan outlines and themed camp schedule *Follow rotation schedules in a timely manner while always being aware of where your group is and what your participants are doing *Ensuring equipment is safe and ready to use before an athlete uses it

Qualifications

*Our ideal candidate is engaged, high energy, punctual, and professional *Must be available to work the entire 8 weeks of camp *Gymnastics knowledge and/or experience a plus but not required *Coaching and/or teaching experience a plus but not required

Our littlest gymnasts get their very own private gym - our Preschool Room!! In here they can learn safely on equipment that was built just for their little hands and tiny bodies! Complete with 3 bars, several balance beams, plenty of floor space, and a mini-sized trampoline! At G-Force Gymnastics we believe: * Every child is unique and deserves the individual attention necessary to inspire them to reach their full potential * We can instill a sense of confidence, self-worth and success through positive reinforcement * Proper form and technique helps children progress through a variety of skills in order to keep them engaged and motivated * Learning in a fun and safe environment is essential to the gymnastics experience COACHING POSITIONS: * Preschool coaches must love working with toddlers ages 18 mons to 5 years! Patience and class management skills are a must! Previous childcare or teaching experience is recommended. * GEM Star coaches work with male and female athletes ages 6 and up! These are high energy classes focusing on fun and learning! Skill demonstration and spotting are required. * Team coaches must have previous gymnastics and/or coaching experience. We have both a men's and women's competitive program and are always accepting applications for compulsory and optional level coaches who are interested in joining our team and having a positive impact on the lives of athletes. OFFICE POSITIONS: * Front Desk staff must have outstanding personal skills and be a master at customer service along with basic computer knowledge. Answering phones, scheduling classes, and taking payments are all a part of this very busy and challenging position. * Cleaning staff must be available to clean around the gym schedule. The entire gym is cleaned everyday with focus on the common areas, lobby, spectator areas, and bathrooms.
