Everyday you will:

• Communicate with customers through various channels (I.e. phone, email, or text) 
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries while acknowledging and resolving any concerns or complaints. 
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all time. 
• Set up truck routes and assign backhauls. 
• Serve as a back-up for the Dispatch Supervisor when he/she is out. 
• Communicate with Drivers nightly their dispatch time, route, backhauls and any other special instructions. 
• Fill out and email equipment at domicile lots sheets as needed.
• Maintain auto router.
• Maintain regular driver communications and relations. 
• Additional Duties as assigned.

• Have the ability to read maps and a have keen sense of direction
• Have excellent Math skills, problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task
• Have excellent computer skills, including the capacity to learn new programming
• The ability to work under pressure and with extreme time constraints
• Have knowledge of or learn the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience and Education Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer and Microsoft office experience 
• Transportation Logistics experience preferred
