Overview

G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team in La Port, TX.

Responsibilities

• Reads equipment manuals for mechanical PM’s and repair.
• Follows all laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Loads and unloads equipment and materials.
• Uses hand and power tools and heavy machinery, follows all safety practices.
• Follows written and verbal instructions from managers and can work on their own as needed.
• Collaborates with coworkers and has strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates strong time management skills, self-motivated.
• Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving skills.
• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Pipefitting and plant maintenance skills. (preferably with 5 years of experience)
• Receive material from vendors and account for material.

Qualifications

• Proficient with reading blueprints (P&IDs, PFDs, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Completion of welding apprenticeship
