Electronic Design Engineer - Full Time
Location: Irvine, CA, 92614
What you will be doing:
Develop custom circuit design/architecture and internal documentation.
Interpret technical requirements.
Design PLD, electronic schematic diagrams, PCBs, test prototypes and verify compliance with design requirements.
Generate bill of materials (BOM) and pricing sheets.
Develop Test Requirement Documents (TRD).
Participate in Technical Program management meetings and communicate technical issues with customers.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by Shared Resources Department Manager and Program Manager.
Experience you will need:
At least 4 years of relevant experience in product design and development of electronics systems, product manufacturability, design migration to production, and digital and analog circuit design.
Experience with analog, digital, mixed-signal processing, control systems, sensors, microprocessors, microcontrollers, DSP, PLDs, and FPGAs.
Experience with schematic capture using tools such as OrCAD, Altium, PSpice, and Verilog.
Experience with PCB design and testing.
Experience with product documents such as bill of materials (BOM), Test Requirement Document (TRD), manufacturing instructions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks and projects at once.
Creative thinking with strong decision-making and execution skills.
Preferred experience with military equipment.
