Position Summary:

A Sports Director with Future Stars is responsible for organizing and implementing a variety of sport activities.

Ideal Candidates Include:

• Physical Education Teachers, Coaches
• Collegiate Juniors and Seniors with an education or sports focused major
• Elementary and High School teachers
• Childcare professionals with athletics experience
• Teaching Assistants or Aides with athletics experience

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily sport activities with a primary focus on teamwork, skill development, and friendly competition
• Supervise and mentor sports staff
• Communicate effectively with the group Counselors and Directors
• Insure provided equipment is prepared and available, and put away end of day

Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:

• Previous experience working with children
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Understand and support the mission of the organization
• Positive attitude
• Commitment to the growth and development of campers

Benefits:

Full time summer position with additional pay available for optional AM and PM extended hours. A staff referral program is available for all employees to earn bonus pay. Future Stars Summer Camps offers a professional atmosphere with a positive daily work environment.
