Position Summary:

An Instructor with Future Stars Camps is responsible for leading one of the following activities throughout the camp day: Art, Fine Arts, Hollywood, Robotics, STEM, and Sports.

Ideal Candidates Include:

• Elementary and High School teachers
• Teaching Assistants or Aides
• Experienced childcare professionals
• Recent college graduates with a passion for working with children
• Physical Education Teachers, Experienced Coaches

Responsibilities:

• Engage campers and deliver fun based curriculum provided by Future Stars
• Communicate effectively with the group Counselors and Directors

Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:

• Previous experience working with children
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Understand and support the mission of the organization
• Positive attitude
• Commitment to the growth and development of campers
• Commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work
• Excellent judgment along with the ability to identify problems and work quickly to find solutions

Benefits:

Full time summer position with additional pay available for optional AM and PM extended hours. A staff referral program is available for all employees to earn bonus pay. Future Stars Summer Camps is in our 53rd summer and offer a professional atmosphere with a positive daily work environment.
