Job Description
Future Stars Camps, a leader in summer day camps since 1971 is looking for skilled counselors to lead and supervise camper groups.
Position Summary: Day Camp Counselor
A Future Stars Day Camp Counselor is responsible for the supervision of campers while ensuring a safe and fun learning environment. Counselors participate in all camp activities, and serve as a positive role model for campers.
Position Objective: (Essential Job Responsibilities)
Group supervision of campers with attention to: group management and behavior, health, safety, security, and personal and skill development.
- Build positive relationships and ensure the safety and well-being of people of all ages
- Promote and actively participate in all camper activities and projects
- Swim with campers and assist camp swim instructors
- Work effectively with co-counselors and collaborate on daily responsibilities
Duration: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Benefits:
Full time summer position with additional pay available for optional AM and PM extended hours. A generous staff referral program is available for all employees to earn bonus pay. Future Stars Summer Camps offers a professional atmosphere with a positive daily work environment.
