Future Scholars LLC is Hiring a Pre-K Assistant Teacher Near Naugatuck, CT
Future Scholars is currently looking to hire 1 full-time Pre-K 3 Assistant Teacher. Must be over 18 and be willing to get CPR, First Aid, AED, Med, and EpiPen certified. Position is from 7:00am-4:00pm. Assistant teacher will assist the head teacher in day to day activities including, but not limited to, cleaning the classroom and bathrooms, getting lunches ready, assisting teacher in preperation for daily learning, indoor and outdoor supervision, engaging with the children, assisting children when using the bathroom etc. Preference given to anyone who already has background checks approved in BCIS, a current physical less than 2 years old and a current TB read less than a year old for immediate start.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of child care experience in a licensed center. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. The ability to lift up to 50lbs. The ability to utilize whole body movements including, but not limited to, kneeling, bending, lifting, holding, turning, and moving.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
