About the Job:
The Remodeler job is in Jacksonville, FL, and in the surrounding areas. Must have 4 - 10 years of Residential Plumbing, Electricity, Remodeling experience. This is a part-time position, 20 – 30 hours per week. There are no set hours. You must be proficient with a variety of tools and know how to do a range of repairs and installations, from installing cabinets, drywall, flooring, and painting rooms.
We Offer:
- Great pay based on experience, our top guys earn $23 and $30 per hour, part-time 20 to 30 hours per week.
- Run your own truck, we provide the vehicle with expenses paid.
Key Duties:
- Must be willing to travel to the surrounding cities and work flexible hours and longer hours at times.
- Home remodeling experience required to do a range of repairs, installations to include Remodeling, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electricity, Painting, Demolition and more.
- Service calls to repair and replace walls, floors, cabinets, counters, and fixtures of all types to build new rooms and refurbish existing rooms.
- Must be proficient with operating a variety of hand and power tools, including drills and other tools as needed.
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools.
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Must Follow all safety procedures on the job site/homes. Report incidents immediately to management.
- Must be flexible and troubleshoot problems that may arise when working on a project.
Qualifications:
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Valid social security number.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service communication skills.
- OSHA 10 Certification is preferred but not required.
Physical / Work Environment Requirements:
- Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to bend, stoop, quat, crouch, climb, kneel and twist.
- Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
