Fusion Health is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing Communications Specialist to join our Business Development team in our Woodbridge, NJ office! This candidate will participate in dynamic projects related to the creation and delivery of effective and compelling communication and content development strategies with a focus on prospect engagement to drive new sales opportunities. Position Description & Responsibilities:

TheBusiness Development team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the Business Development team’s success, such as:

  • Create, conceptualize, write/edit, and enhance communications and content, including proposals, website, advertisements, imagery, articles, brochures, case studies, feature stories, etc. 
  • Drive excellent storytelling and content creation that engages internal and external audiences on Fusion Health’s product offerings, business successes, transformation initiatives, executive thought leadership and other matters of importance.
  • Craft captivating, effective, creative, and engaging copy with powerful headlines and strong calls to action.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of effective sales and marketing strategies for the company with regular guidance from the Business Development team.
  • Develop an understanding of Fusion’s target market, their interests, and business needs to effectively communicate Fusion Health’s value proposition.
  • Create accurate and compelling content for written proposals and RFPs leveraging various forms of corporate marketing collateral and content.
  • Translate technical subject matter into engaging proposal and marketing content while obtaining a customer-centered approach.
  • Drive compliance of proposal development processes by engaging cross-functional teams to meet interim milestones needed for timely submission of proposals.
  • Develop verbal and written communication strategies tailored to various stages of the buying process and personas.
  • Craft messages for different formats, including social media, website, events, blog, sales enablement, and demand generation to support campaigns and content strategies.
  • Ensure that all communications are aligned with Fusion Health's brand and are presented with audience-appropriate tone and language in a way that promotes a Great Place to Work culture.
  • Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
  • Identify market trends and recommendations for outreach improvement.
  • Perform market and competitor analysis to identify sell-against strategies to obtain an increased market share.
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
  • Maintain and refine documentation/content library.
  • Support day-to-day functions of communications and content development to support the strategic initiatives of Fusion Health.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or other related area of specialty.
  • At least 2 years of proven writing/editing experience

  • Ability to demonstrate a wide degree of creativity, innovation, and flexibility.
  • Must be able to utilize previous content and modify as needed.
  • Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people to establish productive, ongoing relationships.
  • Research-driven, creative thinker that can learn about competition, business processes and potential opportunities or problems facing our industry.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (i.e. WordPress, html coding, etc.).
  • Experience in healthcare and/or technology a plus

Additional Details:

  • This is an on-site, full-time, salaried position located in our Woodbridge, New Jersey headquarters. Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
