Compensation: $90,000-$110,000

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Manufacturing Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our organizational culture while overseeing all aspects of building-related activities. Your primary objective will be to cultivate a workplace environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing facilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead cultural transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace culture and employee engagement within the manufacturing environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
• Champion safety initiatives to ensure facilities meet and exceed regulatory standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness among all employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Serve as a mentor and coach to facility staff, promoting a culture of accountability, learning, and professional development.
• Partner with HR to design and deliver training programs focused on leadership development, conflict resolution, and change management.
• Act as a liaison between management and employees, facilitating open communication channels and promoting transparency.
• Utilize data analysis and metrics to assess the effectiveness of culture change initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Facilities Management within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of driving cultural transformation initiatives. Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of the organization, from frontline employees to senior management.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry, including environmental regulations, safety standards, and building codes. Experience with regulatory inspections and audits is valuable.
• Proficiency in managing building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery is also essential. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as OSHA regulations and ISO certifications, is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, custodial staff, and contractors. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are necessary for effectively coordinating and delegating tasks, as well as resolving conflicts.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to oversee facility-related projects such as renovations, expansions, or equipment installations. Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management is essential.
• Experience in developing and managing budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects. Familiarity with cost-control measures and strategies for optimizing operational expenses is crucial.
