FurstStaffing is Hiring a Welder fabricator Near Rockford, IL
Welder-Fabricator Fantastic opportunity for a Welder / Fabricator to work at a local company that is a leader in its field.
This is a Furst-to-Hire position on1st shift. Excellent benefits upon hire, including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, life insurance and retirement plan.
Bonus for good attendance! Hours : 6am to 4pm, Mon-Fri. Pay : $20 / hour, DOE and skill set Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
- Perform MIG, TIG welding
- Fabricate & build products based on welding blueprints
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Account for and dispose of scrap metal
- Complete welding, assembly, and fabricating
- Communicate with management and team
Welder / Fabricator Requirements :
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read Welding Blueprints
- Assembly experience
- Knowledge of steel fabricating
- Good math and measuring skills, including ability to convert fractions to decimals
- Excellent communication skills
