FurstStaffing is Hiring a Packer/Line Inspector - 1st shift Near Rockford, IL
A prominent packaging company has openings for 7 Packers/Line Inspectors to work on their 1st shift. This is a very clean, procedure-driven environment offering steady work for approximately 6 months.
Hours: 6:50am to 3pm, with some overtime, as needed
Pay: $16.50/hour
Packer/Line Inspector Responsibilities:
- Visually check all products
- Monitor quality, and perform clean-ups and set-ups
- Complete batch record documentation
- Assist with set-up and operation of all production related equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Must be willing to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) – which includes no make-up, jewelry, fake fingernails or nail polish
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Must meet background check and pre-employment drug-test requirements
- Must pass visual acuity test
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
