FunVacay, LLC is a Full Service, Luxury Vacation Rental Management Company providing unsurpassed boutique management services at properties in Destin, Miramar Beach, and along 30A.
We are seeking a fulltime, skilled maintenance technician to join our team. This position requires weekend work. The primary role of this position is to provide a proactive maintenance approach to ensure our guests receive premium service and enjoy a luxury experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills, knowledge of general maintenance repairs, and preferably have experience in the vacation rental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
- Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Communicate effectively regarding maintenance issues and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed
- Ensure all properties meet company and safety standards and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all workspaces
- Ability to work with team members, owners, and guests in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in the vacation rental industry
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
