POSITION SUMMARY:

Fungi Perfecti, LLC is a family owned, environmentally friendly company specializing in growing and using gourmet and medicinal mushrooms to improve the health of the planet and its people. We are currently seeking two (2) intermittent crew members in our warehouse.This position is located at the Tumwater, WA. The warehouse is generally open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm. We will soon begin operating with a continued second shift of 5:00pm to 3:30am from Monday through Thursday.

Intermittent employees are utilized to meet the variable or fluctuating needs of the company.This position is currently scheduled to train and work on Monday and Tuesday (8am-4:30pm), with the potential to work additional hours during the week if needed. In the near future, this position will be moving to the full time second shift of Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 3:30am.

The Warehouse Crew member is an intermittent, non-exempt position and will report directly to the Shipping Supervisor. If you are a highly organized, team-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Accurately and efficiently selects products to fulfill customer orders.

•Packs and prepares shipments in accordance with customer and carrier guidelines.

•Processes and creates shipping labels for packages using computer software.

•Performs double checks on orders as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.

•Restocks and puts away product into correct location.

•Monitors incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.

•Completes checks, logbooks, and cleaning duties required in maintaining a cGMP warehouse as needed.

•Monitors inventory levels, notifying supervisor when stock is low.

•Assembles item kits and subdivides bulk product for resale.

•Maintains a clean and orderly warehouse, following regulations and safety standards.

•Works cooperatively in a close-knit team environment.

•Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Forklift operator certified

•Basic knowledge of shipping software

•Basic knowledge of cGMP and safety regulations

•Basic freight and shipping experience

•Basic international shipping experience

•Basic knowledge of SAP database system

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
•Ability to stand for long periods of time.
•Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
•Frequent, bending, sitting, standing, lifting, and overhead reaching.
•Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
•Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
•Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person.
•Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

Wage Range: $19.00- $25.70/hour
