POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of a Hospitality Aide provides a unique, non-clinical opportunity to work among a strong and collaborative care team, make a real difference in the lives of the patients & residents in our care. The Hospitality Aide works alongside the nursing department preforming non-nursing, non-direct/hands-on duties pertaining to the comfort and well-being of the patients of the facility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make bedsPass water to patientsServe / remove food traysAnswer call lightsClean / change linensTransporting patients around the facilityInventory patient’s personal items upon admissionPerform other non-nursing activities

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Must have the desire to care for people, especially those who are elderly and chronically ill

Must be capable of following oral and written instructions

Must be able to write simple records and reports under supervision

Must have a pleasant and courteous manner

Must speak, understand, and write fluently in English

Must have reliable transportation
