Functional Pathways is hiring at Western Hills Retirement Village in Cincinnati, OH for a Full-time or Part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Western Hills Retirement Village is a premier senior living community located in Cincinnati, OH, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic views of the surrounding hills. The community is conveniently located near the Western Hills Plaza shopping center and several local restaurants and parks. As a member of the therapy team at Western Hills Retirement Village, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of residents, providing them with quality rehabilitation services in a supportive and welcoming environment. The facility offers a team-oriented approach to care and values the input of its team members in providing the best possible outcomes for their patients.

JOB SUMMARY:
COTA/L shall implement the plan of care as established by the OTR/L and the physician in a professional, competent manner, upholding excellence with quality of care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have an Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations.
  • Active state license required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures, clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines.
  • Knowledge of AOTA code of ethics and role delineation, including guidelines for supervision.
  • Ability to supervise Occupational Therapy Aides.
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Annual physical and TB skin test required.
