Pay Rate: $19-22 (depending on shift and department)

Job Title: AGV Tech/Controller

Reports to: Special Operations/Compliance Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Purpose: AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) Controller is responsible to maintain the AGV equipment running at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor AGV Conveyor to ensure is operational at all times
• Troubleshoot any rejected loads for proper AGV put away
• Monitor communications between GOLD (WMS) and EMS (AGV system)
• Report any issues with product on floor or with AGV’s with faults at the floor
• Contact the proper personnel for escalation
• Ensure all pallets are in acceptable shape to go thru the conveyor
• Direct personnel to place product on alternative location, if needed
• Perform other related duties in the department as assigned from time to time by the supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications
• Good communications skills
• Detail-oriented and excellent people skills
• Conduct him/her self in a constructive manner and must be able to be responsive to feedback from all.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Knowledge of GOLD STOCK
• Must be flexible to work weekends and nights

Education and/or Experience:

• Strong English skills, reading, written and verbal
• Strong communication skills-will be dealing with many vendors
• Strong problem solver, with systems and operations
• Excellent follow up and follow through skills

Computer Skills:

• Experience in Microsoft Windows, Office software, Microsoft Visio.

Reasoning Ability:

• Must be able to interact with all levels of management. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
• Ability to make independent decisions as needed.
• Solve problems with no directions
• Demonstrate ability to examine the logical relationships between conclusions and their supporting assertions.
• Must be able to draw conclusions from facts and evidence.
