Full Job Description:

Full-time opportunity at Fullerton Paint & Flooring for someone with previous industry experience: As a Paint Inside Sales Representative, you play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and expertise in all aspects of paint products and applications. We have multiple product lines and provide on the job training from day one. Your primary responsibilities include assisting customers in selecting the right products for their projects, mixing and matching paint colors accurately, and ensuring the store is organized and well-stocked at all times. Detail check-in of received orders. Valid driver’s license required for pick-up of will called orders and customer deliveries.

We offer a healthy work-life balance. We are open until 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. We are closed Sunday and major Holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate paint products and tools.
  • Color Matching and Mixing: Utilize color matching technology and your expertise to accurately mix and match paint colors, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest paint products, trends, and techniques to effectively advise customers on product selection and application methods.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure accurate record-keeping of stock levels.
  • Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including phone and online orders, and handling transactions through the point-of-sale system.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including maintaining equipment and ensuring proper storage of products.
  • Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and resolve any issues related to product selection, application, or service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Detail Oriented: Accurately check in received orders to maintain correct inventory.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Daily customer deliveries or order will-call pick-up.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Have previous experience selling paint and paint related products.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy paint cans and equipment up to 50lbs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint.
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays, evenings until 5:00 p.m., and holidays as needed.
  • At least one (1) year previous experience with delivery, retail, or customer service.
  • Ability to read write and comprehend in English.
  • Driver’s license
  • Bilingual a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
