Job Summary: The Master Data Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the organization's master data sets within FullBloom's IT infrastructure. This position leads efforts in standardizing master data practices, creating effective workflows, and establishing comprehensive policies to ensure the accuracy, usability, and security of our data. This role supports our mission to provide data-informed educational services, with a particular focus on enhancing data quality and integrity across all domains. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with a robust technical background, and a commitment to improving educational outcomes through efficient and standardized data management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts in administering, maintaining, and securing master data across multiple domains, including but not limited to student, employee, and program data.
  • Standardize master data practices, creating and implementing effective workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance data quality and integrity.
  • Implement data quality measures ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all data sets.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to understand data usage and implications for business processes, decision-making, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data management procedures, data models, and standard operating procedures for master data management.
  • Facilitate data integration and synchronization across various systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Respond to data-related queries and assist in data analysis tasks, leveraging standardized practices for data management and governance.
  • Participate in the development and enforcement of policies and standards for data governance, with a focus on master data management.
  • Stay abreast of developments in data management technologies and practices, recommending improvements to enhance our data ecosystem.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in data management or a similar role, preferably in the education or related sectors, with a focus on master data management and standardization.
  • Experience with data management tools and software, including proficiency in NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps, and knowledge of data warehousing principles.
  • Proficient in database management systems, data integration tools, and data quality software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory and Power BI is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AI technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with Data Management/Documentation tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and GDPR/Data Privacy standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to engage across various levels of the organization.
  • Passion for leveraging data to support educational initiatives and outcomes.
