Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an on-site Technology Consultant to join a defense technology firm supporting a military program in Quantico, VA. The Technology Consultant will provide engineering services, manage complex IT projects, lead the creation of technical documentation, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities of the Technology Consultant:

• Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects through all phases, ensuring they meet client specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop hypotheses, draw conclusions, and compile detailed final reports; manage presentation delivery to stakeholders.
• Assist in creating and revising technical documentation, including Authorization to Operate (ATO), by determining end-user requirements and collaborating with engineers, administrators, and developers.
• Design user-friendly product documentation and support materials by utilizing multimedia elements like photographs, drawings, diagrams, animations, and charts to enhance comprehension.
• Standardize content across various platforms and media, collect usability feedback, and make necessary adjustments to improve user experience and product interaction.

Necessary Qualifications for the Technology Consultant:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology.
• Proficiency in technical writing, conducting system architecture reviews, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Possession of an IAT Level III certification.
• Clearance: active Secret
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Nice to have, but not required: experience within the Marine Corps or other military branches.

Compensation for the Technology Consultant:

• Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 (dependent on experience)
