Looking for a Friendly and EagerGeneral Manager for the newest chef-driven restaurant concept from Unctuous Group, creators of Little Miss BBQ. This new space is set to Open Mid-March and our mission is to be the best part of peoples day with some amazing food, great customer service, and a friendly clean environment. We are on the hunt for a strong hospitality professional with experience in driving restaurant financials, mentoring team members to excel in professional and personal life, and a commitment to the process of opening a new restaurant!
FULL SPEED is a Fried Chicken and Ribs joint with a neighborhood feel, offering takeout and dine-in within a southwest inspired environment on Roosevelt and 5th Street in Downtown Phoenix. Open 11AM-11PM 7 days a week, serving lunch, dinner and sharable bites as well as beer, seltzers, wine, and cocktails on tap.
COMPENSATION:
This is an exempt, salary position, with pay ranges from $75-85K a year and is eligible to participate in our bonus programs, a PTO program with up to 80 hours a year, a rich health insurance benefit, and a 401K fund with employer matching. Forecasting Labor/Sales, meeting 20% of net rev labor targets for hourly employees
Cash Handling, Reconciliation & Deposit process owner- ensures accuracy and maintains cycle
Food Cost Manager- overseeing FOH, BOH & PITS managers and guiding team with food cost targets
Inventory: Responsible for inventory completion within cycle deadline- Ensure all items are checked in upon receiving, track and understand changes
Invoices: Account for and code all invoices/bills/receipts for the business unit weekly,
FOOD AND BEVERAGE COMPETINCIES
Quality and Consistency- Tracking par levels with Kitchen and Pitt crews, ensure daily quality checks being performed on food and fostering a culture that is serving the best product. Track food quality/consistency.
Menu Engineering - Ability to develop recipes with a team cost out recipe and build into menu program
Health Standards and Inspections Lead a team to maintain Maricopa County Food Inspection report with 0 violations, be present and available for food inspections on site. Education and train all staff for proper food storage, FIFO, cooling and heating procedures
Maintains Food Manager s card and AZ DLLC Liquor Title 4 Training
